Meeting with representatives of the private sector - USAID Civic Education Program

On July 7, 2022, a meeting was held with representatives of the private sector within the framework of the USAID Civic Education Program.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the USAID Civic Education Program and private companies.

At first, the program was presented at the meeting, and then the invited guests received information on how schools and the private sector will cooperate within the program. To achieve this goal, business forums will be held within the program, where students and other representatives of the school will introduce their needs and ideas to businesses and receive support from them.

Also within the program, grants are planned for businesses in which companies will have the opportunity to create products or services that will help schools to enhance civic education.

At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the private sector talked about their activities and the opportunities they offer to youth nowadays. They expressed their readiness for future cooperation.

The USAID Civic Education Program is funded by the United States Agency For International Development (USAID) and implemented by PH International in Georgia. The Program is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The partner organization in Shida Kartli Region is Society Biliki.
