International Day for the Rights of People with Disabilities

თარიღი: .

On December 3, 1992, the United Nations established International Day for the Rights of People with Disabilities, which is celebrated annually around the world.

The purpose of this day is to focus on the centuries-old discrimination and neglect that people with disabilities experience. Despite great efforts around the world, people with disabilities still face problems with mobility, education, employment, access to resources, or other types of problems.

Today, as never before, against the background of COVID-19, we need to understand the importance of awareness and solidarity of each member of society towards people with disabilities.

Society Biliki and the Slovak organization TENENET are implementing a joint project, which aims to support the employment of persons with disabilities and optimization of Services in the Labor Policy in Georgia. The project is funded by the Slovak International Development Agency / Slovak Aid.
